READ BEFORE ASSEMBLY
ADULT ASSEMBLY ONLY. This kit requires soldering and is not a children's activity. Keep all components, tools, and materials away from children and pets during assembly.
SOLDERING IRON: BURN AND FIRE HAZARD. The soldering iron reaches high temperatures. Work on a heat-resistant surface, never leave a hot iron unattended, and unplug it immediately after use. Keep it away from flammable materials.
SOLDER: USE LEAD-FREE ONLY. Use lead-free, RoHS-compliant solder. Even lead-free solder releases flux fumes, so work in a well-ventilated area, avoid breathing the fumes, and wash your hands after assembly.
ADHESIVE (CYANOACRYLATE): BONDS SKIN INSTANTLY. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use in a ventilated area. Do not attempt to pull bonded skin apart; seek guidance if bonding occurs.
EYE PROTECTION. Wear eye protection.
SMALL PARTS: CHOKING HAZARD. Components are small and pose a choking hazard. Keep them contained and away from children and pets throughout assembly.
NOT FOR MOBILITY OR MEDICAL USE. The completed switch is intended only for activating battery-operated toys and low-voltage play or learning devices. Do not use it to control a powered wheelchair or other mobility device, or any medically critical or life-sustaining equipment. If the switch fails or sticks in those applications, it could cause serious injury.
